After Zack Snyder stepped away from directing duties on Justice League, we didn’t hear much from the director regarding his what his original plans were for the film. Over the past few years, however, he’s started sharing little nuggets of information. We know that Darkseid would be involved. There would have been some heroes die, possibly Batman. We’d probably get to see some Green Lanterns at some point and Batman’s Knightmare scene would be explained. And of course, there were other films, most notably Flashpoint.
With Snyder’s departure in the middle of production during Justice League, and with the large number of reshoots that followed once Joss Whedon stepped in, speculation began that Snyder’s version was complete but that Warner Bros. and DC knew it wouldn’t do well so he was fired and a commercially viable version of the movie was produced. Fans of what Snyder had done up to that point began demanding the release of the “Snyder Cut.” While there is no evidence that such a version even exists, multiple versions do.
A few days ago, a video hit Twitter in which a fan asked Snyder about the potential release of the “Snyder Cut.” His response was telling. Not only did he confirm that there is a completed version of the movie, but it sounds like there are different versions that have been completed. It also sounds like he’d be willing to release them; however, it’s not up to him.
I mean all I can tell you is that, sure there’s a cut, it’s done. They have a cut. They have a bunch of them…so, it’s not like…it’s up to them.
Check out the video for yourself.
It’s done. It’s up to them.

Should Warner Bros. release the “Snyder Cut” of Justice League? At this point, I think it’s more of a curiosity than anything. Would it hurt the franchise any more than what they’ve done already has? Even though I have problems with Snyder’s interpretation of the DC Universe, and had some serious issues with his movies, I did enjoy them. I’d be interested to see how his version played out without Joss Whedon stepping in. What do you think though? Let us know in the comments!
