The Stranger Things Kids Were a Motown Cover Band

Is there anything that these kids can’t do?

The cast from the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things, have been making the late-night TV rounds this week. During their latest stop, on the set of The Late Late Show With James Corden, the boys showed there really isn’t much they can’t do in a faux flashback to their days before they became small-screen stars; when they were part of a Motown cover band called The Upside Downs.

The mockumentary, done in the style of Behind the Music, illustrates how Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp went from being in a Motown cover band with James Corden, to landing their roles on Stranger Things. And even though their days of singing sweet, sweet Motown hits were in the past, they couldn’t resist reuniting for one last show as they performed songs from The Jackson 5, The Temptations, and more.
