Stephen Amell on American Ninja Warrior
You probably know him as Oliver Queen. Or maybe you know him as the Green Arrow. Regardless, you will now also know Arrow star, Stephen Amell as American Ninja Warrior competitor. After years of saying that he wanted to appear on the the athletic competition series, it’s finally happening!
As part of NBC’s “Red Nose Day” On May 25, American Ninja Warrior will hold a special “celebrity edition” episode in which comedians Jeff Dye and Nikki Glaser, actress Mena Suvari, broadcast journalist Natalie Morales, retired MLB player Nick Swisher, among others will join Amell in competing for a chance to climb Mount Midoriyama.
The episode may not air until next week, but NBC has released a teaser of Amell running the course. Unfortunately, you’ll need to tune in when the episode airs to see how he actually does, but after watching him on Arrow for the past five seasons, I’m guessing he’ll finish pretty strong.
