Speed – MMU 67

On this episode, Jake is back with Tracy and Val as they discuss maybe the most 90s action movie of all action movies- Speed! Starring Keanu Reeves, Dennis Hopper, and the smoking hot Sandra Bullock, this heart pounding, nonstop action movie starts fast and only picks up the pace as it goes. But does it hold up all these many, many years later? Our team weighs in and lets you know.

In addition we talk about movies in theaters, or not in theaters as we share some bad news that Tenet has been delayed indefinitely. Who knows when new movies will be coming to theaters again? We don’t but we’ll talk about it.

Plus! Val is going to be on set for a Hallmark Christmas movie, so we can’t wait to hear more, and see that movie (we don’t know what it’s called yet, but we will let you know later).

Plus, plus! We tease next week’s episode- when we will be concluding Action Movie July with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon- that’s right, we are going to make you read a movie for our next episode.

What do you think of Speed? Do you have a suggestion for an upcoming episode? Did Tracy say something you disagreed with? You can send all of that feedback to podcast@moviesthatmakeus.com
