Season 11 of the X-files Gets a Trailer

Over the weekend at New York Comic Con, Fox unveiled the trailer for the upcoming eleventh season of The X-Files. But that’s not the only notable item regarding The X-Files to come out of NYCC. 

The trailer comes out on the heels of news that this will most likely be Gillian Anderson’s swan song as Dana Scully. While talking with reporters at NYCC, Anderson was asked whether she had any interest in continuing beyond the upcoming season. “No, no,” she said, “I think this will be it for me.”

Anderson also said that she returned for season eleven, “Because it felt like it wasn’t over. It didn’t feel like we necessarily deliver everything the fans were expecting of us last time, and so it was that.”
