Podcast Awards Update
The Podcast Awards are quickly coming upon us and there are only 9 more days you can vote! Be sure to head on over to www.podcastawards.com and drop a vote for us under the “Technology” category, and remember to vote everyday!
That being said, word has come down the pipe that some shows may or may not be illegally stuffing the ballot box. The event organizer has promised us that any show suspected of doing so will be publicly outed, which would be embarrassing to everyone. We want to win this, and with your help we stand a good chance of doing so. But we will do it by the rules. To recap, I’ve made a list:
- You CAN vote every day, until midnight (Eastern Time) November 15th, 2012
- You CANNOT vote repeatedly using different email addresses.
- You CAN get your friends to vote!
- You CANNOT use your friend’s email addresses to vote without their permission!
- You CAN spam your social networks to try and get votes (though you might annoy your friends)
- You CANNOT use a paid, third-party service to get votes for you
Yes, surprisingly, that last one is actually something that people do. Let’s rock this vote the honest way and show everyone that our audience is the best!
(Oh yeah, and today is the launch day of some sort of video game . . . and the election day of some sort of political thing. you should probably do that, too.)
