Fans have been teased twice this morning by the official Twitter account of Netflix’s Marvel’s The Punisher. The first tweet came a little more than an hour ago in the form of a message in Morse code that when deciphered reads “3 AM.”

The next tweet of note came just minutes ago with what appears to be video of the opening for The Punisher. It should be noted that the date of the premiere at the end is blurred out and labeled as “classified.”

So based on the first tweet, we can ascertain that something is happening, probably tonight, at 3 AM. The fact that the second tweet contains the show’s opening leads me to believe that we may be seeing Marvel’s The Punisher debut on Netflix sooner than expected. (Not that we really knew what to expect.) I’m just guessing here, but a full trailer seems most probable. I’m also thinking that it will be accompanied by an official release date. but what if Netflix knows that people are done binge-watching The Defenders and has deiced to just release The Punisher? That would be cool… What do you think these tweets mean?

UPDATE:

After digging a bit more into the tweets sent out, it looks like there are actually 13 that are in Morse code. We know that Netflix ordered 13 episodes of Marvel’s The Punisher, so I’m guessing that nothing is happening at 3 AM as previously speculated. I’m now thinking that these are the titles of each of the 13 episodes.

  • 3 AM
  • Two Dead Men
  • Kandahar
  • Resupply
  • Gunner
  • The Judas Goat
  • Crosshairs
  • Cold Steel
  • Front Toward Enemy
  • Virtue of the Vicious
  • Danger Close
  • Home
  • Memento Mori

Given this additional information, what do you think?
