The Addams Family will be making their way back to theaters this fall.
The first trailer for MGM’s upcoming Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan re-imagining of The Addams Family is here. Surprisingly, despite getting their start in a single-panel New Yorker cartoon, and having had two separate animated shows (one in the 70s, the other in the ’90s), this is the first time that America’s creepiest family has received a full-length animated feature on the big screen.
The film follows the family as they plan a family reunion while dealing with a reality-TV host, played by Allison Janney. It also stars Oscar Isaac as the voice of Gomez Addams, Charlize Theron as Morticia, Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley, and Chloë Grace Moretz as Wednesday.

The Addams Family hits theaters on October 11, 2019.
