Earlier today on both Twitter and Facebook, LEGO used a cryptic video to announce that the largest ever Star Wars set will be released on October 1, 2017 with excited fans who have been speculating that the set will be the long rumored LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) immediately feeling vindicated.

Rumors have been been circulating about the release of the UCS Millennium Falcon remake for a while, and an image even appeared on Reddit with details, including price, release date, and an image of the assembled set. With more than 6,000 pieces, and a retail price of more than $800, this is a set that fans of LEGO and Star Wars alike will want to add to their collections.  Of course, this particular rumor originally appeared on April Fool’s Day so take it with a grain of salt; however, there is evidence that it wasn’t a joke to troll collectors.

The Star Wars: The Last Jedi LEGO sets will launch on September 1 which leads me to believe that the new set is not from the upcoming film. There are indications though that this set will be officially announced at that time which will allow fans time to prepare for acquiring the enormous set.

What do you think the new set will be? Will the rumors of the UCS Millennium Falcon prove true, or should we be expecting something else? Tell us what you think in the comments below!
