When people ask who is the best Batman, in my mind there is only one correct answer: Kevin Conroy. Sure, Michael Keaton did a great job and some people even really like what Ben Affleck did with the character, but they aren’t the best. The correct answer is always Kevin Conroy. Beginning with Batman: The Animated Series, Conroy has been the go-to Batman voice actor for everything from TV shows to video games. But now fans are finally going to get to see the face behind the voice with the CW’s announcement during the Television Critics Association summer press tour that Conroy will play Bruce Wayne in DC’s upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.

Conroy will be joined by the previously announced guest stars that include Burt Ward and Brandon Routh, who will be Superman from the Kingdom Come story line. Cress Williams will also appear as Black Lightning during the event formally entering Black Lightning into the Arrowverse.

The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover starts with Supergirl on December 8, 2019. Parts two and three will take part during Batwoman and Flash over the next two nights. The story concludes in Arrow and Legends Of Tomorrow on January 14, 2020.
