I’ve been a fan of Jackie Chan for years. Not only do I find his movies highly entertaining, I also have tremendous respect for him because he does all of his own stunts. And now he’s bringing those stunts to the world of animation as he stars in The LEGO Ninjago Movie as Sensei Wu, the young ninja squad’s wise leader and trainer.

A new featurette has been released for the movie that showcases how the action star created the ninja stunts practically, before they were made into animated sequences. I’m sure that it only scratches the surface, but it’s a fascinating watch. Check it out below.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie stars Jackie Chan, Justin Theroux, Dave Franco, Olivia Munn, Michael Pena Fred Armisen, Kumail Nanjiani Abbi Jacobson, and Zach Woods. It hits theaters in both 2D and 3D on September 22, 2017.
