Variety is reporting that CBS is planning on reviving the classic Rod Serling series, The Twilight Zone, for a third time. And it should probably come as no surprise that the series will be another CBS All Access exclusive. I guess that means that if you’re already signed up to the streaming service so that you can watch Star Trek: Discovery, you may not want to cancel that subscription quite yet.

Les Moonves, the CEO of CBS Corp., made the announcement in a conference call with investors on Thursday.

All Access will be the home of a new version of one of the most iconic television shows of all time – The Twilight Zone.

Variety is also reporting that CBS is in allegedly in talks with Jordan Peele to executive produce the new version of the show through his company Monkeypaw with Marc Ramirez serving as showrunner. With Peele, who wrote, co-produced, and directed one of this year’s biggest horror films, Get Out, involved, there’s a good chance that this series could be great.

What do you think of this news? Are you excited to see this classic television show make a return?
