According to The Hollywood Reporter, FX and Donald Glover are expanding their respective relationships with Marvel and joining forces for an animated, adult-oriented, Deadpool series. Glover, who will appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, will team up with his brother, Stephen, to write, executive produce, and serve as show-runners for the animated series. Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory will also be serving as executive producers.

The 10-episode series is scheduled to premiere in 2018 on the FXX network.

While I seriously doubt that the series will be as “adult” as the live-action film, odds are that this will not be airing when the kids are up. What are your thoughts?
