If you enjoy pop culture and entertainment, technology, and geek culture, then you’ve come to the right place.
In 2008, four friends, Zuke, Zohner, Schmidty, and Stark, decided that they needed a place where they could share their thoughts on comic books, technology, video games, and movies. After some brief discussion, Stolendroids was born.
Then in 2011, after another geeky conversation, probably about how a two-meter womp rat really isn’t as small as Star Wars would lead you to believe, it was suggested that these things should be recorded. A few days later, the first of more than 360 weekly Stolendroids Podcast episodes was recorded.
Over time, Stolendroids eventually became Stolendroids Media. The number of contributors and podcasts grew to include shows covering topics from Star Trek to geek culture to the paranormal. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Such was the case with Stolendroids.
After a year-long hiatus, Stolendroids Media returned in 2019 with a bold new vision to become your go to source for all things geek.
Thanks for coming! Now sit back and enjoy the ride. We know we will.
Meet the Team
After developing a love of Star Wars and comic books as a child, Zohner was destined to be a geek. With interests touching on computers, video games, technology, books, TV and movies, and toys and collectibles, he is the epitome of a well-rounded geek.
When he’s not writing articles or doing something related to podcasting, Zohner can be found spending time with his family, managing projects for a software company, or hanging out in the gym knowing that it won’t do a bit of good.
Zohner is one of the founding members of Stolendroids. After stepping away for a time to work on other endeavors, the time was right for him to make his triumphant return to the one project that he truly loves. He now rules over the Stolendroids Media empire with an almuminum foil fist in hopes of one day making it to the front page of Reddit.

If you look up the word “geek” in the dictionary, you won’t find a picture of Collin. The definition though is “an enthusiast or expert especially in a technological field or activity” which couldn’t describe him any more perfectly. Whether it’s music, movies, technology, or any other number of interests, Collin is a geek to the core.
When he’s not spending time with his beautiful wife or son, Collin can often be found improving companies and their IT infrastructure at his day job. If he’s not there, find a computer or TV because you’re going to find him podcasting, researching new technology, playing video games, or watching either endless amounts of Chuck reruns or Star Wars.
Jake is a blogger, podcaster, and all-around geek/nerd. He enjoys all sorts of different “fandoms,” but more than anything he loves movies. Movies have always been a big part of his life. From escaping into them as a child and teenager to working in the business as a concessions worker at his local theater, movies have always been there for Jake.
In addition to his extensive DVD/Blu-ray/iTunes movie collection, Jake is also a loving husband to one wonderful wife and father to six amazing children.
Marlee brings a mutual love of video games and baked goods to Cutscenes & Cupcakes. With an average amount of gaming experience that began in childhood, Marlee is “Player Medium.” Even though she has always enjoyed video games, she has only recently started exploring more advanced games which have taught her many things along the way.
Her favorite video games include, but are not limited to: Bioshock, Spider-Man (PS4), The Last of Us, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
When she’s not playing video games, you can find Marlee at her event manager job or exercising at the gym. She currently enjoys the companionship of her PlayStation 4 and two cats.

When Tracy isn’t watching movies, he can be found training for his next half marathon, serving members of Salt Lake City’s homeless community with The Kindness Project, or spending time with his amazing wife.

Stephanie is the noob of Cutscenes & Cupcakes, but she more than makes up for it with dirty comments and facts about drag queens and/or murderers.
Steph did not grow up playing games but when her friends gathered to play on Friday nights, she always tagged along because it gave her the opportunity to spend time with friends. To her, that was always the best part of gaming. And as she has aged, not much has changed. She still enjoys spending time with friends while playing video games such as Overwatch, Mortal Kombat, and Tetris 99.
During her non-gaming, non-podcast hosting time, Stephanie enjoys being with her one daughter, her one dog, and her one husband. She funds her love for expensive coffee by working as a massage therapist.
